About Us

We are responsible for the administration of the Enrollment Office, maintaining and updating the Tribal membership roll, related enrollment records, providing statistical data to Tribal programs and other related services.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Office of Tribal Enrollment and Records is to uphold tribal sovereignty and execute responsibilities of tribal enrollment as dictated by the Walker River Paiute Tribal Council. The office seeks to preserve for all time the Agai Dicutta way of life by maintaining vital records provided by and for tribal members. In doing so, the office is keeping the tribe’s desire to honor our ancestors and provide for future generations.


Frequently Asked Questions

Fill out a Tribal ID request form and schedule an appointment for your picture and signature. Please provide a copy of your driver license/Identification card for verification.

Please submit a completed application, family tree, an original birth certificate and a copy of applicant’s social security card.

Any additional information the committee requests to verify your eligibility.

It is a requirement for all documents to be retrained within the file.

The WRPT is not the issuing entity and is not allowed to redistribute that information.

The enrollment committee is scheduled monthly and approval recommendation goes before the Tribal Council.

All enrollment functions are by appointment only.

Walker River only verifies Walker River Blood Degree. If an applicant prefers to include other Tribal Blood Degree, the document of proof must accompany the application.
